On this page, you can set whether to enable synchronization and under what conditions Threads posts will automatically synchronize to Instagram.

It is important to note that we recommend setting a minimum synchronization threshold. This is because Instagram and Threads have different posting frequency limits, and this will help avoid frequent posting on Threads triggering Instagram’s posting frequency restrictions.

Instagram Synchronization Rules #

When a Threads post contains only text, Pitchat will automatically convert the text into an image and publish it on Instagram. The effect is as follows.

You can also use the Instagram preview on the posting interface to see the expected display effect of the text converted into an image.

Synchronization Principles for Threads Posts Containing Media #

When your Threads post includes media content, after synchronizing to Instagram, the media will be the primary display content, presented in the same way as if you were posting directly on Instagram. The system supports the simultaneous synchronization of multiple media items.

Two Display Modes #

Mode One: Main post directly includes media

  • The text content of the post will be displayed in the Instagram post’s caption field.
  • Media content will be displayed normally in the main body of the post.

Mode Two: Main post contains only text, media is placed in a reply

  • The system will convert the text content of the main post into an image format.
  • The text image will be displayed as the first image.
  • Media content from the replies will be arranged sequentially after the text image.

This mechanism ensures that users with different posting habits can fully present their content on Instagram. Whether you prefer to post text first and add media later, or directly publish a complete post with media, the system will automatically adjust to the most suitable display format for the Instagram platform.
